This release includes the following system features.

PowerFlex 525 Synchronous Reluctance Motor Control

System Feature first identified as of PowerFlex® 525 Drive Firmware Revision 7.001

This firmware introduces the Synchronous Reluctance Motor control within PF525 drive by adding Synchronous Reluctance Motor algorithm and code optimization.

A new option 5: SynRm is added to parameter P039 [Torque Perf Mode] to enable the use of SynRm control.

Corrected Anomalies in This Release

This release corrects the following anomalies.

PowerFlex 525 issues with F114 faults (PCBANOM-1452)

Corrected Anomaly with Firmware Revision 7.001

Enhanced with PowerFlex® 525 drive Firmware Revision 7.001 to strengthen the immunity of the module towards F114 faults.

PowerFlex 525 with onboard NIC using BOOTP does not receive reply from Stratix 2500 (PCBANOM-2790)

Corrected Anomaly with Firmware Revision 7.001

The communication issue between PowerFlex® 525 and Stratix® 2500 is corrected with PowerFlex 525 firmware revision 7.001 and later.

USB connection is unresponsive on Windows 8 and 10 (PCBANOM-1471)
