Product improvements have been made to increase product resiliency to potentially disruptive activities. To maintain authenticity, obtain product updates and new releases directly from Rockwell Automation.
Some modules are available with a conformal coating to provide a layer of protection against contaminants and humidity to help protect the assembly and extend product life in harsh, corrosive environments. Products with a conformal coating have a ‘K’ at the end of the catalog number.

Revision 3 firmware is only compatible with modules that already use revision 3 firmware. You cannot use revision 3 firmware in modules that came with revision 1 or revision 2 firmware. ControlFLASH™ software will not let you update those modules to revision 3 firmware.
